McCollough Architecture led the renovation of Foley’s historic Armory Building in downtown Foley, transforming the once-abandoned structure into Local and Company, a modern, trend-forward restaurant and community landmark. The 7,177-square-foot renovation preserved the building’s historic character while introducing a refreshed design that accommodates contemporary dining and hospitality needs. Working closely with the local Historical Board, the design team thoughtfully balanced historic preservation with modern functionality, revitalizing an important downtown building and contributing to the continued growth and vibrancy of Foley’s downtown district.
