McCollough Architecture was commissioned to renovate Gulf Shores Church of Christ, transforming the existing facility with updated spaces for worship, fellowship, education, and ministry. The renovation included a new children’s wing with six classrooms, an office wing featuring three offices and a new conference room, and a multipurpose fellowship hall designed to accommodate both community gatherings and basketball activities. The fellowship hall also includes a commercial kitchen to support church events and outreach programs.

Additional improvements included a new covered drive-through canopy and an expanded, welcoming foyer to enhance visitor arrival and circulation. The building’s exterior was also reimagined with a fresh coastal design, bringing a modern aesthetic to the church while creating a cohesive and inviting presence within the Gulf Shores community.
