McCollough Architecture was engaged to transform the existing Village Hideaway Sports Bar and Pizzeria into an elevated coffee bar and restaurant with a relaxed coastal aesthetic that better complements the character of The Beach Club Resort. The renovation included a new covered porch overlooking the entertainment and food truck yard, featuring a lounge-style gathering area with comfortable seating and multiple televisions to enhance the outdoor guest experience.
The project also included renovations to the second-floor meeting space, lobby, and restrooms, incorporating updated flooring, carpeting, window treatments, and fixtures throughout. McCollough Architecture provided construction drawings and interior design services to create a cohesive, refreshed environment that blends comfort, functionality, and the resort’s coastal atmosphere.
In addition to the restaurant renovation, McCollough Architecture developed a master plan for future improvements throughout The Village, including converting the existing real estate office into The Village Mercantile and repurposing the current Village Mercantile as an arcade and support space for The Village Lawn. The overall vision focuses on creating a more connected and engaging destination for dining, recreation, and community gathering. The improvements are being implemented in phases, with the master plan guiding future renovations as each phase is completed.
