McCollough Architecture was engaged to design a 2,500-square-foot administrative building serving as the primary check-in facility and administrative offices for the new Gulf State Park RV Resort. Designed to provide a welcoming and efficient arrival experience, the building features a reception area for in-person guest check-in, an expansive workspace for administrative operations, and a self-check-in kiosk complemented by a small beverage bar and waiting area. Additional amenities include restrooms and a staff breakroom to support daily operations.
McCollough Architecture provided programming and interior design services in collaboration with WAS Design, which developed the master plan for the overall resort. The design prioritizes operational efficiency, guest convenience, and a welcoming first impression, establishing a functional point of arrival that supports the resort’s day-to-day management and enhances the visitor experience.
